NORTH ROCKS
North Rocks is an established residential area, with some Industrial land use. North Rocks is bounded by Darling Mills Creek in the north west, the suburb of Carlingford in the east and the suburb of North Parramatta in the south. North Rocks is names after the large standstone outcrop once in the area. It was previously known as Jerusalem Rocks.
Key industrial use areas includes Loyalty Road, North Rocks Road and Lenton Place.
Major features of the area include Westfield Shoppingtown North Rocks, Muirfield Golf Club, Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children, Bidjigal Reserve, North Rocks Indoor Sports City, the former Darling Mills State forrest and a number of schools.
