CHULLORA

Chullora is an established residential and industrial area with some commercial areas. Chullora is bounded by the northern boundary of the Chullora rail workshops and the Hume Highway in the north, Roberts Road, Juno Parade, Punchbowl Road and Koala Road South in the east, Wattle Street, Hillcrest Avenue and Old Kent Road in the south and Stacey Street and Rookwood Road in the west. Part of the suburb of Greenacre is located in the Strathfield Council area. Greenacre is named after a small cultivated area along the first road through the area. It was originally known as East Bankstown.

Major features of the area include Chullora Market Place, TAFE NSW South Western Sydney Institute (Chullora Annexe), RSPCA Veterinary Hospital, Greenacre Swimming Centre and a number of schools.
