MARAYONG

Marayong is part established industrial area to the west of Kings Park. Marayong is bounded by Quakers Road and Arnott Road in the north, the railway line and the western boundary of the Ashlar Golf Club in the east, Richmond Road in the south and Falmouth Road and the eastern boundary of Melrose Park in the west. Marayong is named from an Aboriginal word meaning “emu”.

Major features of the area include Harvey Park, Marayong Park, Marayong Heights Park and a number of schools.
